Entry Requirements for US Citizens

US citizens traveling for ordinary short tourism and social visits are currently visa-exempt and do not need a tourist eVisa. For employment, study, long-term stay, or other specific purposes, different Malaysian immigration requirements may apply. Where applicable, visa-processing services are available with Regular processing (4–6 working days) or Express processing (2–3 working days).

Visa Processing Times (Where Applicable)

If your travel purpose requires visa processing assistance, our service offers Regular processing (4–6 working days, USD 95) and Express processing (2–3 working days, USD 150). Malaysian Immigration makes the final visa decision separately.

eVisa Validity (Where Applicable)

Where an eVisa applies, it is generally valid for 6 months from issuance. You can enter Malaysia anytime within this validity period. Permitted stay duration depends on the specific visa type and is confirmed at entry.
